Our next photo shoot will be a documentary type event. The Galveston Bay Foundation (GBF)is holding their 'Marsh Mania' event at Burnet Bay. About 80 volunteers will be planting cord grass in prepared mounds in the Bay, which is located in Baytown just south of I10.

Volunteers will be shuttled to the site and will be working in shallow water planting the grass. When the job is done, there will be a barbeque lunch. We will be primarily photographing people and surroundings in the Bay and at the lunch. Images will be used by the GBF on their website, and probably in the newsletters of the sponsoring companies.

If we exceed the number of photographers this event can support, Larry Armer has a nearby favorite shooting location at Hugo Point.

Please let me know if you have an interest in coming. The GBF will require us to sign liability waivers since it is in and near the water.
